Will this work for a m2 drive?

This Tableau TK35U+ along with a M.2 to SATA adapter (not included) will work with most M.2 SATA drives. It will not work with M.2 NVMe drives. They require Tableau TK7u bridge plus adapter bundle.

will this work for SD cards, micro sd, usb storage devices and external hardrives? We need these for investigations.

Yes. It depends on how old the hard drives are too. I still have my old tools for the old hard drives, and it reads the data without issue.

What is the type of power outlet? is it uk, usa or european plug for the ac/dc adaptator ? what is the voltage? can i use it directly in france ?

It is a 110 voltage plug for the USA. You will need an adapter to use in Europe.

Is there space in the hard box for an ext hdd & assoc pwr supply?we move files in an air gaped environment & want to store everything together.

I believe the hard case uses foam and you could cut some more spaces, but it's been awhile since I've laid eyes on this kit. I billed it through to a customer and they put it on a shelf for hopefully-never-need-again.
