Excellent practice material with Common Core Standards in mind.

This is a great resource book that provides opportunities for students to develop their critical and creative thinking skills. It has been a success in my classroom.

To preface my review, I am a 5th grade teacher.Compared to other nonfiction trade books, the lexile score of the articles are higher. The worksheets that are paired with the articles require more of the students. Students are often asked to cite evidence from the text and justify their answers. There are hardly any multiple choice questions. Overall, I think this product helps to support the rigor of the Common Core State Standards.

The book was listed as in good condition. It was in fair condition. The back cover was torn in several spaces but I patched it up with some tape. Faded scratched front cover. It would not be something I would list as in good condition.

Excellent book for critical thinking skills. Book was in almost new condition and arrived quickly. Very pleased.
