Good sound quality for voice chatting, easy to use, super simple plug and play install
I got this to voice chat with my brother in online games. I was hesitant about the mic quality since the price is so low, but I've used it regularly for a month now and it's been awesome. Super easy to install (I plugged it into the USB port and it worked right away), and my brother says the sound is clear and free of background noise, with or without the included mic cover. My voice is notoriously soft, so I was surprised by the clarity; I didn't even put the sensitivity up high, and he can hear me at my normal speaking volume. I can keep the mic set back on the desktop too, unlike others where I've needed it right by my mouth to be heard. The compact size makes it easy to push out of the way when it's not in use, which I appreciate. Its footprint is fairly small, but it stands steadily and has good weight. The whole stem is a bendable gooseneck, so I can tip the head any way I need to. It also has sound receivers on all sides of the head, not just the top, so I don't have to be facing right at it--helpful when I'm moving around or not paying attention to the mic location in the middle of gaming. In short, I'm very pleased and, as long as it lasts me a year or more, I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Works great
Works great and was a great price. I feel like it was valued appropriately. I got this because the microphone on my laptop wasn’t in a great location for meetings when I work from home. This helped a lot.

good quality for the price
my friends tell me that they can hear me well and that the mic is very clear. it's a simple plug-and-play with no installation involved in the setup. very easy to use. the small base and bendable design make it easy to move it around on your desk as needed to get it out of your way.

The things they must have heard.
This microphone would be better if the recessed red/blue mute indicator was protruding from the base rather than recessed. I sometimes have a caller connect after I get up from the desk and it is reassuring to know they are on mute as I get seated into my squeaky recliner. For now I swiped some playdough clay from my grandson to give the base a slight tilt so I could see the light better from across the room.Another improvement would be a completely silent mute button. A reliable touch capacitive rim on the base for muting the mic would be great and I would have paid a few bucks more for it. It seems nobody has that feature so it must be easier said than done. The clarity is great. So check your old microphone and maybe get a new one like I did after discovering the mute button on my old microphone had too many miles on it. The button would mostly but not completely mute my side. Also you should routinely go into your PC's windows settings > system, sound, input - and test for the LEAST amount of volume necessary to sound good. As a rule, more mic volume than necessary will shorten the life of the Microphone so keep it down. On my PC for some reason the control would ease itself higher as if a faulty mute button wasn't bad enough.

Instructions
Difficult to tell if this is a good buy. I'm over 80yrs old, and the print on the directions is so small I have a very hard time reading it.
