This is a cool art style! I tried it and it wasn't for me, I'm more of an acrylic person, but I'm glad I tried it! You get lots of materials in the package and you don't need anything else to set up. The paper is thick but tiny, you do have to use the tweezers. Easy to use if you have watched enough you tube videos! Hopefully you are better at this than I am!

I’ve never quilled before. This kit has all the quality pieces to get started. The paper is 12” long compared to the standard 17” but I didn’t find that to be an issue.

Excellent for my crafting needs. Excellent variety.

I haven't really gotten to use enough to know if any of the pieces are bad. New to using but the product seems of a good quality. I think there needs to be an instruction book for beginners then it would be even better.

This is a very complete kit if you wanted to get started in quilling. I'm totally new to the hobby and watched several YouTube videos prior to making this purchase and was pleased to find several beginner tools that make your learning experience easier included in the kit. The quilling coach was one of these tools in the kit and it is very useful for getting flat and even curling. The kit also has plenty of colorful precut strips to get you started, and a template with cork board and pins to hold your pieces in place while the glue dries. It comes with a fine tip glue bottle but no glue. That's fine for me because I also do pressed flower art and have my own glue and sharpened chopsticks for application.Be aware, there are no instructions included in the kit, but there a plenty of online resources to help you with that. Be aware that each strip has two sides: a rough side and smooth side. The smooth side faces out and the rough side is away from you. Keep the very sturdy cardboard box that the kit is shipped in because it makes a handy storage case. It is a great value and you won't need to make any additional purchases to get started with this art form.
