Great value for cost.
Great boots for what you pay!I ordered some expensive hand made boots and they are 6 to 8 months out. I needed something to wear to work while I weight for them. So I ordered the Ad-Tec wild land fire boots. They arrived when Amazon said they would. When I got them I had a large burn on the top of my left foot from wearing irrigation boots to weld in. Ya, not smart, but my regular work boots let go of their soles and the irrigation boots were a little better than socks. The break in was pretty easy other than the burn, and I wore them close to 10 hours a day, every day even with a quarter sized burn on my foot. The toe box, ball of my foot, arch and heal, all feel great. The boots feel stable when walking. The laces only lasted a couple days in the welding shop, as they are nylon or something else that melted. I replaced the laces with a kevlar nomax fire resistant brand. My foot is now healed. I put the boots on at 6:30 in the morning and work on concrete welding and repairs all day and don't take them off again until 9:30 or 10:00 at night. I where them all day every day and my feet feel good.

Easy to wear.
These are true to size and work as a great trail boot. These are all leather with fire resistant laces and sole. I wore them for 10 hours today without getting blisters. I AM IMPRESSED. I'll see how they "work" tomorrow.

Best boots I've ever had...easy to break in with a little grease.

Fits true to size
I asked for a size 13 but I got a 12. Honestly I am glad I did. 12 fits great. The shoes hurt but I just need to break them in. I can't wait to start working on the fire line. In all, a good budget boot if you are looking to get into wildland fire fighting.Update:Perhaps the worst boot I ever wore. Going up a size did nothing. I really wanted to like this boot, I spent 6 terrible months with it. My foot kept sliding in the boot causing terrible blisters. It also did not last long by the end of 5 months it was falling apart. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOT. Save a bit more money to buy a pair that will work for you, not against you.

We shall see
I have worn logger boots for the past 25 years or so and I can say that they are on par for the country of origin. Speed hooks are not cast, toe of sole is not sewn to the welt, and the inside heel counter is very thin fabric. That being said, the leather does have real body to it, it is a riveted steel shank, and the stitching seems to be far enough from edges to not tear through immediately and I see no perforated spots. Cost wise they don’t make you cry like a pair of Whites or Nicks and if you are really hard on boots like I am a pair that lasts 8 months at $150 is better than a pair that lasts 12 months at $500.

my daily wears
I've had these boots more than a year now, they are still solid, soles still in good condition. I wear them a few times a week for chores, and for pretty much any time i leave the house that i'm not dressed up.I bought only a half size large, and went for the wide, and.. i could have bought my actual size, but the extra room in the toebox doesn't bother me. I usually wear a mens 9.5 or womens 11, and i would say that these are off by a quarter of a size or so, rather than a half size. i would also say that the "wide" is slightly less wide than one would expect, slightly wider than a normal medium. the leather did stretch well, and fits to my calf completely now, so about 15" as i have quite muscular legs.honestly, i took a bit of a gamble on these boots, as id have preferred something made in the us, and usually find cheap chinese made boots to be of much thinner leather.when i resole them, i will be going with a vibram sole with a slightly higher heel and pulling out the original liner and insole, but... beyond the cheap liner and insole, these boots are fantastic for the price.... if you manage to get the right size.

Loooooove these boots!
These boots are high quality, durability, style and comfort! From the first day I put them on, I was so happy I purchased them! They are men’s boots but so perfect for a woman as well with a nice size heel giving you just enough of a comfortable lift. I am usually very hard on my shoes, I work hard and play hard! But these shoes are one of the few that I wear all day on into the night, no problem.

Best PNW Boot lookalike for the money
I got these as a Christmas gift this year as I wanted something which resembled a PNW boot to see if it would even be something I would wear. Here are my thoughts so far:Pros:1. For the money, the overall fit and finish is pretty decent. The leather feels thick and substantial, and the goodyear welt seems legitimate. Lug sole is proprietary and unnecessarily oil resistant, but adequate for the look this boot gives.2. Fit for me is actually pretty comfortable. I wear a size 11 shoe and bought the size 11 boot. Fits as expected. A little soreness the first couple of days but now broken in nicely.3. The look is the best part. You get a boot that looks far closer to a PNW boot for a 5th the cost. Durable enough for regular work use and casual wear.Cons:1. The durability is not going to be comparable to a real PNW boot. This should be obvious from the price point, but worth mentioning anyway.2. The tongue is not a triple-layer design which is stitched to the uppers all the way to the top. It's stitched in to about the ankle, then is just a long, loose tongue. This makes it a little more difficult to lace up while keeping the tongue straight.3. Not a fan of the brass rivets at the corner of the stitching in the front, as it's unnecessary and makes the boot look cheaper. The tag isn't the best either, but you could easily cut it off.Overall, if you're looking for a good entry into the PNW style of boot as a casual/semi professional wearer, I think you'll be pleased overall. Of course this is not a "real" wildland boot for a 5th of the price, but it's close enough that it will scratch the itch if you're curious. I'm very happy with it and if I remember I will update on the durability at a later date.
