This fit my hat which has four places to lock the straps in place. This one has six it does not interfere with the support of the helmet. I contacted MSA to be sure. They said simply leave them in the top of your helmet

If you’re thinking about getting this one to replace the Lift 6 point suspension DO IT! It’s much better made and more comfortable and sits a lot lower but still has plenty of space to protect your head. I have a Lift carbon fiber hardhat with the MSA fast track suspension and it fits great. I’ve been saving job stickers to put on a good hardhat when I finally bought one. I’ve been wearing a crappy hardhat with no orientation stickers for 7 years. I finally got a good setup and put all my stickers on it!

Not as advertised. Cheaply made, won’t fit my exact hard hat that I’d pictured, does not have the clasp that acutely connect to the hard hat, cheap plastic pieces that “slide” into the cheap hard hats from hard ware store. Waste of money and no have to order another one and wait to receive it even longer. The “skull guard vgaurd” is not as the advertised please don’t waste your money on this. Go with another buyer. They even refuse to work with me to send the actual skull guard vgaurd headware. Buyer beware
