The Prank Device That Won’t Stop Beeping for 3 Years

Where to start...I purchased this to prank my office staff. The ladies in the office are a ton of fun, always joking around and having fun, and absolute rockstars at their jobs. They're meticulous and detail oriented, not much gets by them...The kind of environment you enjoy working in, work hard play hard. Enter the little tiny noisemaker. I hid it in a decoration located centrally between the 3 offices, but closer to 2 of them with the beep muffled ever so slightly by it's hiding place. The hiding place was key, due to the short duration of the beep which sounds like a smoke detector alert, it makes the sound very non-directional and hard to pinpoint. That combined with the logic in the board that guarantees there's no rhyme or reason to the frequency of the alert made for the perfect 2 week run of mayhem.It started out as a minor annoyance, but the search escalated quickly. I of course helped them look for the mystery beep, pulling down smoke detectors, checking batteries, unplugging appliances that might possibly be the source. Nothing seemed to help. I checked in with them periodically to see if the noise had abated and even suggested a couple times that they may just be imagining the beep. They started recording the times that it would beep, to try to decipher a pattern that might lead to solving the mystery. I encouraged and supported their efforts the whole time, being as helpful as I possibly could!I announced my prank in the weekly company meeting which got a ton of laughs, and am now walking on pins and needles because I know retribution is coming my way...100% worth it! Do not use this on someone if you're not prepared for them to plot revenge.I can verify that the beeping is as random as could be for anyone that needs to explore their diabolical side, this is a great way to go.5 stars, highly recommend.

HUGE SUCCESS!!!!!! I originally got this to prank my immediate supervisor and his assistant. The next day after revealing where we hid it. It got passed all around the office up to the plant manager. Worth every penny.

Sounds quality is good but only loud enough in a quite environment. So far battery is good and functioning as it should. You never know when it's going to go off so if can drive people crazy! $14 of a little high. If the battery didn't last I'd return. Descent value.

Bought this is Nov 2024. Put it my brother’s bathroom at his house. His wife and my mom(who watches their child) have been losing their minds over the noise. It was my intention to annoy my brother after he sent me the gummy bag of d**ks, but the outcome was so much better. They changed out the batteries for every single smoke detector in their house. His wife had to move to an upstairs room to focus on work instead of being downstairs. 5 months later, they finally found it.

I've purchased the annoyingPCB and other off-brand products a couple of times, and they sure do their job annoying people. Although I really doubt it lasts 3 years, mine stopped working after a few months, although it might have to do with the environment, maybe leaving them in a car during summer fries the system.

I was disappointed with this prank device, even though it did everything they said it would. It was easy to change sounds and simple to turn on/off. I chose the “cricket” sound and placed the device in the room where my family would be. It doesn’t go off very often, but when it does, you could hear it with no problem. The sound I chose sounds like a cricket, but it also resembles the alert from a smoke detector when the battery needs to be changed. I let it go on for awhile without saying anything, but when my sister started saying they needed to get the ladder from the shed and check the battery. I had to admit I was attempting to play a joke. It didn’t work out the way I wanted, since I envisioned them searching for a cricket and this never happened.

Fun gag for everyone but your targets. Just enough beep to drive your friends crazy. My only complaint is that it beeps when you turn it on, and it beeps as you go through trying to select a tone, so you really need to plan your prank ahead of time. Durability could be better, battery no longer stays in, but it worked once and that's good enough for the price.
