Quick shipping, works perfectly. Genuine S&G lock.
Recently the S&G 6120 lock on my 17 year old Heritage safe started acting up, and almost locked permenantly. I contacted Heritage, and they recommended this S&G. It identicle to the old one, with only slightly different keypad (square numbers instead of round). The lock arrived several days earlier than I expected, and was a well packed, geniune item. Easy to install, and worked perfectly.

Fantastic replacement lock
The mechanical locket on my safe was starting to fail. I ordered this as a replacement and it works fantastic. Everything needed for installation is in the package. I had already take my safe apart to fix the old lock so installation took all of about 3 minutes

Easy to install
Installation was a snap, fit right in where the old lock came out. It's a little tricky to program, but if you follow the instructions, you'll be fine.

Master Reset Code is hard programmed. Lock is worthless
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR.Lock is bulk packaged, with dealer programmed "Master Reset Code" that cannot be changed.Theoretically anyone who may have recorded the code can open your safe. FOREVER.I am not putting this on my safe.Asked for refund and Vendor admitted to this practice, but added the excuse that few ever realize the practice and complain, said "trust us, we didn't record the number", and said if that was not comforting then they would issue a return authorization. I replied please do, and they immediately did issue an RMA to return at my expense of course.Then I thought, IT IS NOT RIGHT. This is too important not to share.I decided I would instead of returning the lock, sell it on Ebay AND PROPERLY DISCLOSE it is a new bulk-ordered "dealer lock" with pre-programmed Master Reset Code that cannot be changed.This way I retain the right to leave feedback on Amazon and PROPERLY disclose what the Vendor SHOULD HAVE to begin with.Finally if you find the product description updated, or product removed, but you are considering another item from this Vendor and you are reading this review only because it applied generally to the Vendor, please keep in mind there may be something about the other products they are also not disclosing.They should call themselves "BACK DOORS GALORE"I will try to find another place on Amazon to leave more general feedback about this Vendor.Truly shocking!
