This new scarf from Borges & Scott is a great addition to their range of luxury tweed caps, which are available in a range of Scottish Harris and Irish tweeds. It is unusual in being made entirely from Irish wool - following the decline in the Irish wool industry, the vast majority of woollen products made in Ireland are actually made from imported wool. That’s not the case here. Borges & Scott have searched carefully to bring you a totally Irish product with this warm and soft scarf. This is a 100% Irish wool scarf - one of the last Irish sheep flocks suited for making clothing are feeding in Irish fields on lush Irish grass. The wool used in Borges & Scott’s scarves is fully traceable to this flock. The wool only comes from the lambs in this flock’s first sheering at an age of 6-8 months and is spun, dyed and woven into these terrific scarves in one of the few surviving traditional wool mills in Ireland.

Wonderful!
I bought this for my husband. He loves it! The wool is so soft, and it keeps him warm on the long walk from the parking lot to his office. He looks quite dapper, too!

Solid. Smart.
This won't snag readily like alpaca and cashmere does. I have half a dozen scarves but this is my go to. Handsome, rugged and I now own one in moss and dark blue.

Excellent quality!
My husband Loves this scarf I got for him! It's the perfect length, not too long. It's very warm and keeps his neck protected from the cold windy days of winter! Highly recommend!

Lovely weave but a more scratchy wool
The weave is quite lovely, the wool used is quite scratchy. I had to order different scarves and return these.

Nicely made and warm.
This scarf is very well made and nicely finished. It really screams quality. The pattern is a subtle diagonal stripe. The stripes alternate between navy blue and heather navy blue. The ends of the scarf are finished with a fine fringe. There is an embroidered patch on one end.The scarf is very long and wide. It can easily be folded in half, wrapped around the neck, and then drawn through the loop that the fold makes. The wool used has some slight scratchiness to it, but is mostly soft and cozy feeling. It's very warm without being bulky. All in all... a quality scarf.
