My local dodge dealership says that there's no such thing as an oem key fob, and that people have brought these in before and they only last for a few

The key that I received was able to program I n 10 minutes at a local locksmith. The only thing you have to get is the key code from original key you can get from dealer. Or locksmith can get itDo not listen to anybody from dealer about what worksThey make to much money for programming.Locksmith cost me $45.00 dealer wanted $200Good luck, but keys are good

Will this worl for a 2014 dodge journey?

This key fob is identical to the one I received with my Dodge DURANGO, Just make sure you bring it to a reputable locksmith that programs these wireless devices. Some dealers make it hard by telling you nothing will work. Just make sure go to the dealer you got the car from and have them get you a KEY code number for your car you need this before your new key can be programmed. The locksmith should be about $30.00 to program, it only took my guy 5 minutes for programming. Good luck

Yes a friend of mine has a 2017 and our keys are the same. I took mine to dodge and they programmed it for free. Best of luck

Did NOT work

I returned the fob because it could not be programmed, I never removed the key part but they said I had it cut. I did not. They must have sent it to me that way. They also said I scratched the outside of the fob. That's a lie. The fob could not be programmed and they CHARGED ME A RESTOCKING FEE! This place is a rip-off. Don't trust them.

Not the right key

The locksmith said one, the program is locked and may have been tried to program prior. Two, it’s for a. Charger. Showed my key and this one and if it means anything the little pick on this shows a car, mine shows SUV.

Wasn’t what was pictured

I’m sure the product was fine but it wasn’t as pictured it was missing a hole in the hidden spare key that I needed to attach a chain I didn’t want to attach it to the plastic
