It's nice to look at and is built well. Even the Squirrels like to jump up and get seeds out.

I bought this as a gift for my mother - twice! The first one lasted for years but thr squirrels put it through quite a beating by chewing plastic and jumping on it (I think her squirrels may be mutants, I don't know) so I got her a replacement.These feeders are ADORABLE. They are filled through the chimney so a funnel might be helpful to avoid a mess, and chupmunks fit PERFECTLY in the little feeding tray as we found out. Her mutant squirrels hang from the hanging wire by their back feet and lay along the roof on their bellies to reach into the tray and stuff their furry little faces. When it isn't being bombarded by squirrels and chipmunks, the songbirds eat from it with ease.Larger birds like woodpeckers, eastern bluebirds, and mourning dovds may not be able to get into this style as easily so if you're trying to attract larger birds you may want additional feeders of a different style around.

The good outweighs the not so good here. This is durable, something a bird feeder in New England needs to be. The plastic is thick, doesn’t flex and has a good heft. The design is adorable, I like that the clear windows allow me to view the level of seed inside. I’m happy with the appearance and durability. The not so great. The fill opening is small, as filling is done through the chimney which lifts off. I use a scoop with bendable sides, so that seed is funneled through the top. The chimney just sits on the top, it hasn’t blown off yet and I hope it doesn’t. I don’t know how I’ll clean it, maybe a baby bottle brush when the time comes, as my hand cannot access the inside where the seed sits. I’m giving it five stars because it’s well priced and I believe it will survive the winter here, and the birds are enjoying it.

I’ve had other houses just like this one but for some reason this one didn’t snap together and stay as well as the other ones did in the past. The birds still like it though.

This feeder has everything I wanted: it's sturdy, attractive and easy to fill. Lost my first one in a hurricane and I quickly ordered another one. No regrets.

This is an adorable yellow cottage bird feeder with windows that have window boxes and shutters on 2 sides. The other 2 sides have great detail with doors, door lights, broom, potted plant, and upstairs windows. The seed fills the tray nicely, and the birds seem to really like it. I love it. And it's made in America!

This feeder holds a lot of seed. It’s attractive and sturdy.
