This keyboard/mouse combo is a truly nice combination. The recharging aspect was a real plus as I am very aware of the environment. No need for batteries. Plus! And the touch is very nice. Similar to what I have on my laptop and not like the old keyboard where you have to press harder to get the keystrokes. This is a great keyboard! Glad I made the purchase.The layout is true to the original I am used to. No extra keys on the top of the keyboard for anything other than needed and that come with a standard keyboard. Big plus! Certainly meets my needs and am very happy with this so far. Not sure what others think about the connectivity, but seems to be working all the time for me. My keyboard is close to the laptop so there's no lag time. And the slim design is very functional on my desktop and fits just fine in front of the monitor.

Out of the box the battery life is alright for both. However, its a steep and steady decline in the battery life from there, after few months you will have to charge it every day, then multiple times a day, to the point where I am at now, which is basically that the mouse has to be always plugged to otherwise it will die in less than an hour. The keyboard battery however seems to be much better.the build quality is alright, it looks sleek and clean.
