Excellent unit fur the price!
I work In industrial paint and travel to customers working with painters in their paint booths. I have always had to use half face respirators and I hate them. I purchased this unit a coupe of months ago and so far so good. I can get about 3.5 hours to a charge. I charge it in my car using a 12v to 110v adapter. I don’t never smell any paint and it’s comfortable to wear. The airflow is good, and because I’m always working in hot factories and wearing paint suits, the air feels cool to my face which is a plus when working in Alabama in the dead of summer. I have no complaints for the price point. The cheapest big name PAPR is the Honeywell unit and it runs about $850 bucks. I orders this unit on a Sunday and had it the following Tuesday.

Better than I expected, saving my lungs
This works better than I expected for the price. The mask fits well, I removed the inner mouth piece as it is really not needed with the positive blower pressure. You Can NOT wear glasses with this headset. I am removing a bunch of plastic filler off of a classic car using a grinder and this is saving my lungs from all the dust. Ended up buying adapters so I could put cheaper particulate filters on it to save money. The ability to use two filters really helps when working in a dusty environment. Battery lasts several hours and have not run out of battery before I ran out of energy. I would not use this for biological warfare protection, but for dust and fume protection it is awesome.

Critically flawed, do not buy!
This is not a functioning respirator. Every piece of this kit is useless. The mask is too small for even small adults to use. Besides being too small for an adult face, its made of rigid PVC instead of silicone, and it never deforms enough to make a proper seal on the face. This was not unexpected, other reviews have said as much. But still I thought the main unit would be usable for filtration if paired with another, better mask, so I went ahead anyway.Since the included mask didnt work at all, I bought a better fitting mask and hooked the filter and blower unit up to that. The new mask sealed fully... but the blower is too anemic to supply enough air to breathe. Every breath in has you struggle against the fan, struggling to inhale enough air for a full breath, requiring much more effort than just using an unpowered face mask respirator.I bought two of these units, neither worked. I fully charged them, they seemed to function, but they simply do not blow enough air to breathe. Just a couple normally paced breaths trying to suck air through the massive resistance of the fan left me dizzy and winded. The rate of flow from this useless unit is comparable to a bubble blowing machine; the barest light breeze.Like many folks arriving at this listing, I had hoped I had found an alternative to the multiple-thousands-of-dollars PAPR units from the main brands - even if it meant I would have to replace the mask with a better one. I was mistaken. This is an entirely useless PAPR. If you attempt to rely on this for 100% of your oxygen intake, you will die.

Fits a 6 foot adult and seems to filter well
I received this the other day and right away put it to work spring Auto Body High Build primer. I was a little concerned by the reviews that it would be too small but it fits me well. I'm 6 ft tall and have an average to medium sized head I'd say. Wearing a medium sized motorcycle helmet. It does sit low on the face to seal properly so maybe that's part of the reason people think it's small. The battery lasts for hours and it provides plenty of air. It seemed to filter very well I'd never smelled the paint even though I was spraying in a fairly small space. However the mask itself stinks pretty bad of rubber and plastic and the first day it gave me a bit of a headache so I would definitely recommend letting it air out for a few days before you use it. The two days that I used it I did have a little chest irritation after wearing it for a few hours I'm not sure if that is from the smell of the materials the mask is made from or the dry air or chemicals getting in that have no smell I just don't know. The Mask itself seals well it's comfortable to wear. Much more comfortable than a full face non-powered respirator that you have to wear very tight. I have a full beard and the powered respirator provides plenty of air and stops any of the paint smells from getting in it seems. The air from the blower is a little hotter than the ambient air. All in all I think the mask is very useful and fairly well implemented. If I continue to use it I think that I will 3D print adapters so that I can use 3M filter cartridges. Number one because I have no idea how effective or safe the Chinese 40 mm filters that come with the mask are. But also with 3m filters I can add the dust pre filters that should extend the life of the canister filters. Ultimately I decided to buy a Cool Air 2 remote powered air turbine system. I think it just suits my shop situation better and it's made in the USA. But I will probably still use this battery powered unit on location or for jobs that I do outside of my shop

Excellent!
The product is excellent and works really well. It takes a few minutes to get the mask adjusted and fitted right. I’ve noticed some comments of people saying they couldn’t breathe properly through it… I guarantee you they did not remove the rubber plugs out of each filter as I almost missed that myself. It’s an excellent product, it filters extremely well. It keeps constant, consistent, cool air blowing in and it is awesome. If you are doing a project that requires something like this then get it. Keep in mind: it takes five hours to fully charge, and will run for four hours only.

Fit is great
Is there any better lens protectors? The ones included don't fit well

Better than expected
After reading some of the negative reviews, I was hesitant to buy this. But I needed something like this when I do my sanding. This performed better than I thought. It had great airflow and a mask that fits without leaking.
