Let's Get Biblical!: Why doesn't Judaism Accept the Christian Messiah? Volume 1 Paperback – March 31, 2014

In the past, Christianity spread by force of arms. Today, it grows because its members persuade others to join by using various claims by which they are indoctrinated. These claims are fallacious and will not lead an honest and rational person to accept Christianity. The question then is: Why do so many people accept them? The obvious answer is that in today's society, most people (including Jews) are ignorant of religion, especially the Bible, and are therefore gullible and susceptible to manipulative arguments engineered to be persuasive. In other words, they just don't know any better. They also don't hear the other side, particularly the reasons knowledgeable Jews have never voluntarily accepted Christianity for the past two thousand years.Here's where Rabbi Singer's book comes in. He is particularly strong in showing how knowledge of Judaism precludes any possible mistake in thinking that our Bible has any role in predicting, supporting, or encouraging belief in Christianity.The format of the book is clear, with large fonts for effortless reading. There are multiple charts, graphs, side bars, and other illustrations. These are organized to draw the eye to the main points quickly, so the logic of his arguments can be seen visually as well as intellectually for easy reten-tion and comprehension.Here are some of the issues comprehensively addressed in Volume I:1. Excellent, eye-opening book that exposes a lot of shattering truths about Christianity and clearly explains why God's chosen people, of all people, do not accept christ as Messiah and how the world has been decieved.

Even though I'm still working my way through these two volumes (both simply contain a stupendous amount of information), I can truly say: If EVER you needed a tool for life, whether to counter an argument from a missionary or to deepen your knowledge of the Hebrew scriptures and to finally understand biblical sections in context, this is for you! It is simply a treasure at such an affordable price.I love the lucid way in which each topic is illustrated: with references, charts, Hebrew and English translation comparisons, and also in a friendly Q&A format which makes it so easy to follow and to grasp each conveyed concept. With the scripture index in the back, it is easy to find a topic via this textual reference and then quickly have the full explanation and illustration for that topic at hand.I will forever use these two gems as reference books. They are a product of years of study, experienced debating, and simply a must for each serious scholar's library.

Perhaps the finest defense and case for Judaism I have read in the modern era. Combining the breadth of Rabbis Sacks and Lamm with the profundity of Rabbis Riskin, Soloveitchik and Berkowitz, every Jewish parent you should read the book, absorb it, and provide a copy to their child. Explains how Christians by misappropriation, mistranslation and omission of crucial portions of Tanakh kill the Torah. The history of Christian theology confirms the intellectual dishonesty of a “Son of G-d” or a new covenant after Sinai. G-d is one, indivisible, incorporeal forever. The Messiah will be a person not G-d, not begotten and not begot. Only by following the written and oral Torah/Talmud and His commandments can we ensure not just our Jewish continuity. We are duty bound to advance our ethical monotheistic mission to bring the world to G-d and oneness through compassionate righteousness and moral/ethical judgment by our eternal covenant.

This is the best Bible study you will likely find! Even if you have read the Bible and the New Testament many times, this will be very enlightening and will it will very likely change your life. It will be very hard for your faith to stay the same once you have studied this. You will want to buy both Let's Get Biblical 1 & 2 both on sale at AMZN. This is written with a focus on the Jewish people so if you are not Jewish, I would skip to page 35 starting Volume 1 there on page 35 and then come back after you are done to the beginning. I especially found pages 236, 238, 239 & 224 the most hard hitting pages. If you study them and love them, please post a review and buy more to share from AMZN or direct loved ones to AMZN so they can decide their eternal fate with a very informed decision.

Rabbi Singer shines brightly the light that the Jewish people have been instructed to and has helped to show us the way out of idolatry and into a sweet unadulterated relationship with G-d. So grateful for the Rabbi’s diligent study, his love for others and that he is willing to share these truths! Grateful to G-d for bringing us our of our own egypt, to have our own personal exodus and then to meet Him in His Torah and see what He needs of us. ❤️❤️ These books, volumes 1&2, are very detailed with scriptures to show the false teachings that the christian church has been teaching from its beginning. These are a great study tool along with his youtube videos. Love it all!!
