Does this toy taste strongly like rubber? My dog wont play with a Kong because they taste terribile...I know because I licked it

Unfortunately my dog would not play with his Goughnut or his Goughnut stick. I discovered why after tasting them. They have an incredibly bitter taste. I washed and soaked them in various cleaners, which helped some, but they still taste bitter. Maybe that is why they are said to be indestructible.

i have a small dog that love to chew. and she can chew though anything in less then 1 hour or less. is this a good toy for her or not?

I have 5 dogs, 2 of which are over 100 lbs. They've played with this for a month, unsupervised chewing day and night as well as fetch/chase daily. There's not so much as a tooth mark in it, and they normally go through an "indestructible" toy in a day. Highly recommend this toy for rabid chewers. Also check out the Kong brand black ball, it's just as durable just a different shape.

Is there a real difference between the goughnut maxx and the goughnut maxx 50?

The Maxx 50 is more dense then the Maxx. - they add 50% more carbon to the mixture to make it the strongest toy they have. When people purchase them from me at my store - I usually suggest that start with the Maxx - if the dog does get through to the red core - when they bring it back - we upgrade to the maxx 50. If you know your pup is a total over the top chewing champion ! - do the maxx 50. Either way - they are totally guaranteed to be replaced if your pup get to the red core Paula Cool Dog Gear.
