The nylon is strong enough to hold plates that you'll add for weighted dips. The nylon doesn't kink up and it won't bunch or obstruct your movements, as chains might.There's no padding on this belt. You might not be comfortable using this for belt squats which put much more weight onto the same area. However, for dips, where you are not likely to work with more than a plate or two, this belt works well. Same goes for adding weight to chin-ups.The Iron Bull Strength Nylon Dip Belt is a worthy and affordable option for adding some plates to exercises would've otherwise been bodyweight only.

The strap is great because it does not mark up my bar when I use it with my landmine. The only thing I would have liked is to have a longer strap with some adjustment but for this price.. the Quality and functionality is perfect. Great priduct

I love this dip belt! The entire product feels very sturdy and well-made where I don't doubt it can handle some serious weight. I only attached up to a 45lb plate and did some pull-ups but it worked extremely well! The chain is very long though so it can be very loose and fall off easily so I recommend first threading the chain across to the other side and then pulling it tight like a belt before then running the dangling end through a weight and clipping it back on by where the chain starts.I can't speak for how the nylon one would fare but for a classic metal chain dip belt this nails it.

It works well for a single plate, but if feels like if I go much above 45 problems could occur. It also slides off a bit.

I can't believe I've never seen something like this before. If you are a gym rat, you've probably used a dip belt; most likely one with a heavy-duty chain hanging and swinging and sometimes hitting you right in the crotch (ouch!). That is the feature I love most about this - no chain swinging but easily able to handle two 45 lb plates without any signs of stress. Plus, the lack of chain makes this lighter and easier to store in your gym bag! The size is perfect for just about anyone with a waist size under 42 inches. I'm very happy with this product and would highly recommend to anyone looking to add some weight to their dips or pull-ups.

This is made of quality materias and seems durable. Its fairly comfortable - just wish it was a little wider.
