Unlike like the Maxbear version that was DOA this fired right up after installation with 56% charge on battery. The tool kiy is also much better than the Maxbear making this a great choice.***UPDATE on Jan 5 2022***Still holding a good charge after constant use. I'm on my phone playing games, music, movies, writing, and more and even go to bed watching something. Still going strong after about 6 months. I would definitely buy againI just got it in so I'll update in a month or two as I see how it goes but so far so good.

This is a must have tool to have to open your phone to do battery replacement in your phone. This handy tool saved me a lot of time and frustration in taking my phone apart after it went for a swim with me this summer. The price for the tool is a great value. Definitely 2 thumbs 👍 👍up!

as another reviewer wrote, the battery is not as powerful as advertised. they placed a sticker over the real information to show a different power rating.but, it does work. however, you need to find an instructional video on youtube in order to use because there are no instructions.would I buy again? I cannot answer that now. will have to wait and see how well the batter performs, but seeing as how I have a charger at home and in my car, the power capacity not being as advertised is not likely to concern me very much.if power capacity concerns you, get several power banks because any battery or phone is likely to run out of power. most people have several chargers at home, in car, and at work, so being away from a power source is not really an issue. this battery and the tools provided are "probably" good enough to fulfill your needs, but you will need to find a youtube video.you may also need a larger flathead screwdriver or metal scraper or something to help with peeling the battery off from the inside of the phone where it is glued. I only used the tools that came with the battery and ripped the old battery foil packaging, but not sure it mattered because the old battery went into the trash.

My old battery ballooned and popped off the back of my case. Made it easy to change battery. Getting back off is hardest part of the job. Good videos out there on DIY. This fit great and back to original 2 day run time. At least a full day with heavy use. I Recommend this battery kit! Thanks

You won't believe all the stuff that comes with the batteries. It is a nightmare to replace this battery in the Samsung phone. Somebody who came up with the idea to bury and hide this battery in this phone should be fired. Nobody around here will use this battery to replace ours in our phone. They require we buy their battery and then the charge over and above the cost of the battery to replace it in the darn phone is $65 minimum. Samsung should be sued for this mess. I'll never again have a Samsung phone.

It does work much better than the old battery but my phone says it's only 4000 mah not the 6000 advertised
