We purchased these units to replace the manual hand spray scents in the bathroom, automating the scent control process. Apparently we employ some people who think their _____ doesn't stink. We are very pleased with this product for several reasons. The most important reason is because we can program the units to spray during office business hours only. This keeps us from wasting spray during non-business hours. We have had these units for about 2 and a half months now and they have been working very well. They are simple to install, easy to program (just follow the directions provided), and work well. These units can operate on 2 AA batteries but can take up to four batteries for extended life and less frequent replacing. Our staff has commented on how much better it is to walk into the restroom now than it has been previously.If you want a scent recommendation, we chose the Lavender Lemonade because we love the lemon fresh scent. There are many fragrance options for these units but this was the only lemon fresh scent we could find in the list. TimeMist 1042757

We have four of these. They are junk. I can't seem to find any instructions online on how to operate them, they are not easy to setup or program. It's a pain to have to open them up with a magnet key, that's completely unnecessary. They make an obnoxious noise when they are empty or low on battery. That is also unnecessary. I've had it with this crap so I'm going to replace them.

The product as shipped did not come with the required magnetic key or instructions as to opening it. I was able to force it open and remembered that many reviews complained about having to use the magnetic key to open the unit. The attached photo shows how to bypass the lock. Cut and fold a business card and stuff the folded card under the lock mechanism thereby keeping it in the unlocked position.The vendor was happy to replace the unit, but that really wasn’t needed as the lock was no longer a problem.Programming is easy, but follow the directions to the letter.I’m using it to cover the smell of my Labrador dogs: the adjustable settings are wonderful, and they are set so that I obtain 40 days from the 30 day can.Great unit.

Older versions of the TimeMist devices would truly allow a person to set any time duration with frequency of sprays desired. I was saddened to find that is not possible with their new versions. No where in their description is it clear that their sprayer forces you to set a specific number of sprays based on the length of time chosen. For example, I wanted to spray M-F from 8am-3pm every 59 minutes. While all settings are available for that selection, the unit won't execute that request. Instead it forces you to spray every 17 minutes for that time duration. To me, this is just a devious way to force a user to buy more spray product. I don't want to spray every 17 mins! I read all the reviews from others saying these new units are junk and impossible to program, or they won't run the way they want. I thought it was just user error, but no, turns out it's just bad TimeMist design. If you are going to design something that prevents operation, instead of blinking a stupid triangle that has zero explanation in the user guide, why not prevent users from making the selection in the first place. Very poor implementation on their part. Any company that designs products like this don't deserve anyone's business. I have returned this junk and will buy something else.

I love the programming features and the options. It works beautifully. I only set it for daytime-probably 13 hours. A little difficult to program but great customer support.

Run don't walk away from this device. It does not use other standard 3000 cans that you can buy at the grocery. They did not fit, they were off by just a hair, so convenient for Timemist! NOW YOU HAVE TO BUY THEIR CANS! So, I got the cans finally from Amazon, only to find, I still can't get this stupid device programmed! I keep getting a triangle with an exclamation point and incessant beeping every few minutes. I tried to find someone to call, No dice! You have to go on line and email and, of course, wait and wait. I'm still waiting. This device sounds good, it would have been good had it done what they claim it does. It doesn't, so run away!

It is constantly sending a out a beep alarm for no apparent reason. I'm going back to plug ins.
