Braswells Balsamic Sweet Onion Jam, 11 Oz

I loved the tangy and sweet combination of onions and balsamic vinegar. great as a snack or pre dinnermunchie. A tiny bit pricey for onions and vinegar, but, for me, it was worth it.

A few customers before me complained that jars/containers were NOT as posted here, they received boring plain, while jars were the main reason for purchasing these clearly overpriced Balsamic Onions Jams. So, prior to placing my order, I contacted the Seller/Braswells and asked to "Please be sure that all leads are tightened and jars are the same as on your AD here!" It didn't work at all; they sent plain ones.

A little sweeter than I expected, but the flavor of this jam is amazing. I was looking for a replacement for an onion confit I ran out of. This is so close, and so tasty! Goes so well with steak and burgers.

This jam has a wonderfully intense flavor and it is so delicious! It is great on a cracker, superb on a burger, and delightful on chicken or pork chops. There are lots of culinary uses for it but it also makes a nice gift for numerous occasions, even as a hostess gift. When the jam is all gone, because it has a push-up top, then you have a very nice drinking glass!

I wanted the European style glass and am disappointed in the one received.

I first enjoyed this during dinner at my Brother’s house. I purchased some for myself and find it great on toast. It’s also wonderful accompanying charcuterie. I’ve no doubt that I’ll be purchasing this jam for many years to come.
