Nice Tablet, Good Battery, Limited Graphics
Replacement tablet for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. Graphics are limited colourwise and way less pixels than the Tab S2. However, this is minor compared to Samsung's built in redundancy. The operating system stuck at Android 7 meant that many of the basic apps no longer worked. Unless you are overly worried about the graphics the machine is a good replacement and runs comfortably on Android 11 (at the moment). Really good battery life and easy to use user interface (Samsung positive point). Samsung proprietary operating system is a limit and will see the tablet supported for about 3 years. The price point is really good for a tablet of this quality. Apart from the graphics, I can only be positive about this machine, and even the graphics are not that bad!

excellent device for the budget price
not too heavy in the hand, good loud audio, bright screen , not the highest screen definition but in a 8-9" tablet thats fine.Would have liked a few more bells and whistles like HDMI out but this is a samsung budget device4G works well as does wifi and bluetoothA few older games wont run but not much of a gamer so not an issueGood for ebook readingCamera OK but could use a few more megapixels (cant really moan at the price point)yes the Phone part does work for voice callsHappy customer

Very good tablet
This is a very decent tablet at a reasonable price. I've had it for a year now and I'm happy with it. I use it for streaming apps, music learning apps and occasionally some mobile games. It's pretty lightweight and slim which I like as it makes it very portable, easy to carry around in my satchel or laptop bags. I like the general design as it's very modern and has good aesthetics. The screen is bright and colourful, it has a good resolution and dpi for this size of screen and for the current price point. It provides a good level of clarity and quality when watching movies and playing games. The touch screen works really well and feels quite responsive. Samsung are well known for making great screens and this is one of them.Next to performance. Battery level is pretty good overall, but does drop quite quickly when running more visually intensive apps. It's generally sufficient for a few hours at a time so it's good enough in my book. It does take a while to charge to full but it's pretty comparable to other devices of this price range.General performance is overall very good. I am able to get a mostly steady frame frame when playing mobile games and streaming is consistently stable. I do occasionally have lag when using up too much memory, and it can take a while to power up from off, but this is rare and I get a largely solid performance from the cpu and memory in this tablet.Overall, this is a very good tablet. Samsung are one of my favourite tech companies as I've always had consistently good products from them, and this is no exception. If you're looking for a slim, portable tablet with solid performance and a great display, then I recommend this A7 lite.

Great device. Good for mature users, too.
It was bought to replace an iPad that my mother just couldn't get along with. She was coming from an older 2017 'Galaxy Tab A'.I sold it for her and got this 'Galaxy Tab A7 Lite'. It's been a very good replacement for the old 'Tab A', although I don't know what the 'A7' or 'Lite' patter is all about, at all; especially when it has an 8" screen (god, Samsung, could you just simplify your device naming policy, out, please). The cell phone, calling, functionality has been a boon for her, too: less devices to juggle around with and only one operating system for her to learn for phoning, shopping, browsing, email, etc.I'm really amazed at how cheap these things are. Plenty of internal memory, too, so it shouldn't go obsolete all that soon, as apps get bigger and more complex with all the updates, over time (that's what killed the 'Tab A'; it ran out of space).I preferred the older, recent, versions of Android, though. It used to be simpler and more user friendly. We still find it preferable to using iOS, overall, though.
