The Ultimate Cutting Board Savior!
I’ve been using Howard Products Butcher Block Conditioner (BBC0) for all our cutting boards, and I’m obsessed! This stuff is pure magic in a 12 oz bottle—it’s transformed my kitchen routine and kept every board, from bamboo to thick maple butcher blocks, looking and feeling brand new. If you’re serious about maintaining your cutting boards, this conditioner is an absolute must-have!Applying it is so easy—just a quick wipe with a cloth after cleaning the boards, and it sinks right in. I love how it combines food-grade mineral oil with beeswax and carnauba wax—it hydrates the wood to prevent drying and cracking, while leaving a smooth, protective finish. Our boards don’t just look good; they feel amazing to cut on, with no sticky residue. It’s been a game-changer for my heavily used kitchen favorites, especially the big butcher block that gets daily action. Plus, the subtle natural scent is a nice touch—no overpowering chemical vibes here!I’ve noticed it really extends the life of our boards, keeping them from warping or splitting even with constant washing. The 12 oz size lasts a surprisingly long time, too—I use it on all our cutting boards, and I’m still nowhere near running out after months. It’s food-safe, simple to use, and makes maintenance feel effortless. I can’t imagine going back to plain oil or nothing at all!Pros:• Keeps cutting boards hydrated and crack-free• Easy to apply—just wipe on and let it soak in• Leaves a smooth, non-sticky finish that’s perfect for food prep• Long-lasting 12 oz bottle—great value for the price• Food-grade and natural ingredients give peace of mindCons:• Needs to sit for a few hours (or overnight) for best absorption, so plan ahead• Can feel a little greasy if you over-apply (less is more!)Howard Butcher Block Conditioner has earned its five stars in my kitchen. It’s become my go-to for keeping all our cutting boards in top shape, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves their wood surfaces as much as I do!

Excellent Product!
Excellent product!! I have a wonderful teak, Dansk bowl from 1991. It looked really dried out; it had seen better days. I applied only one coat of this Butcher Block Conditioner, and it looks like a brand-new bowl. I was absolutely amazed! I was somewhat nervous about conditioning the bowl, since we use it daily for our fresh fruit. I was afraid the conditioner would leave it greasy or slick, but no, the wood absorbed the conditioner and left it looking absolutely amazing. Great, great product. I wish I had known about it earlier. I will tell my friends. Thank you!

Exactly what I wanted
This is a great way to protect your soft wood "butcher block" counter. Apply several times until you butcher block style counter top stops absorbing the oil and has a nice shine. Apply as often as needed after. This product will not protect you butcher block counter from cuts so don't use knives on any soft wood butcher block style counters.

Love it!
I have had my butcher block countertops for over 10 years and always used mineral oil when I oiled them. This would always leave extra oil that would get on pieces of paper afterwards for a time. I decided to try this product that contains oils and wax. I am so happy with the way my counters look, and the fact that there is not an oily residue after I'm done. I was able to sand away any marks on the wood, apply the product and let the product sit for a few hours. I wiped off the excess and my counters look so beautiful now!

Old cracked and scratched wood brought to life
LOVE this!!! Took scratches out of closet doors and wooden interior doorsIt brought back to life my dresser abd bed setThis stuff is animal safe and I didn't have to worry about a chemical smell or after odorWood needs moisture because it used to be alive and get wateredAnd when wood is cut, it dries over time and can crack and scratch easily etc. This puts the moisture and life back into wood

Great product
Honestly I had never used it before. While I was working on a custom kitchen the home owner wanted a butcher block made of maple. So I searched for a product they could use themselves to keep it clean and conditioned with minimal effort. I liked the product so much I use it on stuff of my own.

saved my salad bowls!
I purchased a lovely but pricey wooden salad bowl set that quickly started to fade. This product made everything look new and beautiful again and was extremely easy to apply.
