Travis, these X-rays are on film. They come with a removable paper backing that can be retained to brighten the image. I love them.

I bought them for someone else's kid for Christmas so I only glanced at them in the package. As I remember they are not really xrays but more like pictures of xrays and I believe they were 8x10 or maybe 11x14. Yes, they would frame nicely I think. I'm sorry but I didn't count them but there were several.
