Great way to start growing!
Bought for myself to try to get into growing some veggies and I'd say they were a great place to start! All but the lettuce, peppers and one of the tomatoes have started to grow! I put them on top of a baking tray that I could top up with water since initially I was really under watering them! When kept damp they shoot straight up!There was a bit of trial and error with the discs, I found the best thing to do was put one dry in a jug and add a little bit of water at a time to not over soak them. The bag was smaller than expected but that should be no reason to put anyone off.

Things aren't always what they seem
I excitedly planted out my Yellow Pear Tomatoes, my seedlings grew well, but my one complaint (so far) is these are not Yellow Pear Tomatoes - they are yellow, well more orange, but definitely not pear shaped. However, they do taste great. The instructions for some seeds were sparse, more details, as a gardening newbie, would have been very useful.Sweet Pepper California Wonder - never came up.Green Salad Bowl Lettuce, Red Lettuce - a little patchy, never really came to much.Spring Onion - doing well so farRadish - lots of leaves, not a lot of radishBeetroot - slowly coming along, we have leaves and are waiting for the roots to fill outCultivated Rocket - Did wonderfully, we ate well from them until the weather made them boltTomato Roma VF - So far, lots of fruit waiting to ripenCucumber Marketmore - a couple of smallish fruit so far, lots of flowers.I am new to this kind of gardening, but most things look happy and I have followed all the instructions.Probably still a good starting point for someone, but well established gardeners may prefer less of a kit and more of a selection of seeds.

Tight
Okay for trying but with the seeds they include you won’t be able to grow enough. Very tight company.Tight is the word.
