It's great for the series x but I'd recommend only getting it to hold old Xbox 360 games or series x/s games you're currently not playing. I bought a Seagate 1TB SSD card last year but noticed I had a bunch of 360 games and other games I did not play much just taking up space. So, I purchased this to move those games out of the way. I can still play the 360 games straight off of this. If I want to move a series X/S game back over, it's not bad. It transfers right at 1gbps.

I have been hesitate to buy 1 but I was wrong this memory card works better than I expected and I would definitely recommend buying you 1 or 2

It’s not an SSD, but for an HDD it’s solid—downloads, installs, and load times are consistent for older games.Officially compatible with Xbox, so there’s no guessing whether it will work. It’s built for this.What to Know:This drive does not play Xbox Series X|S games directly from it. You can store them on it, but to play them, you’ll need to move the game back onto the console’s internal SSD.Occasionally, the Xbox might not recognize it on boot-up. Exceptional storage device

Love it only thing I had to do was google some stuff to make it work because of previous owner. But works great! Doesn’t make any noise at least not what I can notice. When I plugged it in the computer or Xbox they recognized it. Really use to use and doesn’t heat up
