Absolutely no noise whatsoever. It will move as it is suspended only when there is some air moving around it. This is awesome! So many people comment on it and are intrigued by it. My globe is no longer working, it is stuck at the top, even if i unplug it. is there anything i can do to fix this?

If it is stuck at the top by the magnetic force that is supposed to keep it floating in mid air, you simply need to carefully reposition it in mid-air again, about a half an inch from the top of the C. It's a bit tricky, because if you are too close to the top, it will snap back up there again. And if you aren't close enough, it will fall to the bottom when you let go. Just try it a few times and you'll get the hang of it.
