Sorry, our oxford fabric door curtain can be used as thermal insulated curtain, but it cannot prevent the fire from spreading
While we also have flame retardant door curtain on sale.
They are available in 4 colors: light grey (B09PDP65CX), dark grey (B09PDJXTJ7), green (B09PDXH9ZR), blue (B09PDW26PL)
The door curtain is made of fireproof cloth, and there are 2 kinds of lining options: white silk cotton and Fiberglass. White silk cotton can keep warm but not fireproof. Fiberglass contains glass fibers to prevent the spread of fire.

How is it fixed to wall?

There are two installation methods for our door curtains: hook installation and velcro installation
Hook installation-choose a suitable location, use screws to install the hook on the top of the door frame or on the wall, and then hang the curtain on the hook.
Velcro installation-Cut the velcro as needed, paste it on the door frame or wall, and overlap the curtain with it.
In addition, if you use it as a temporary door, you can also buy curtain rods with hooks online, and hang the curtains on the hooks so as not to damage the door frame and wall. As the door curtain weighs 2kg-4kg, please choose a heavy-duty rod.

The door curtain in the link does not have a window.If you need, we can customize the window size for you. 
The door curtain with windows will be relatively expensive due to the processing cost.
Regular window sizes are: 30*45cm, 40*60cm, 40*80cm, 50*100cm, 50*150cm;
Normally the window is located above the middle of the door curtain.If you need to customize a special size window in a different position, you can contact us and we will make it for you according to the situation.

I’m thinking of purchasing this for a window. Will it help block out /soundproof agaisnt  road noise?

The thickness of the curtain can be customized, the thicker the thickness, the better the noise reduction effect.
