The media could not be loaded. I was expecting this to be a small single-serving-sized bowl, but it much larger than expected! Definitely a great piece to put out at a party (if you trust your guests with ceramic).The 3 pieces are all ceramic, so this can be chipped if mishandled, but overall, it is structurally solid. It is a very dark green, realistic to an actual avocado color, as well as grooved exterior to mimic a real avocado's "alligator skin." The bottom portion on the bowl has a lot of depth, and the top cover has an opening to allow the serving spoon to rest inside, while the lid is on top (see video).For transport, the 3 pieces each were bubbled wrapped inside the box, and also had an additional bubble wrap cushion around the box itself. My 3-piece-set arrived in perfect condition, undamaged, the day after ordering it.The price seems to jump around. When I ordered it, it was $21. It is worth it, at the price I paid. I enjoy the details and the size, and it's so fun. Thank you.

Great for small house parties

Aweswome salsa dish!

Smaller than expected, but nice and sturdy (as long as it doesn’t drop off a counter on to a hard floor)

This server is so much bigger and nicer than I expected for the low price. I thought it would be worth it if I only used it for one or two Cinco de Mayo or Day of the Dead parties. I do think I will have to be extra careful when I wash it because it is made of that sort of fragile ceramic with a glaze that chips off in chunks very easily. If I do damage it, I plan to just buy another one because it is SUPER-cute. Everyone who sees it loves it.

The media could not be loaded. I truly love this beautiful and unique salsas bowl. It’s lightweight and comes in vibrant red and green chilly color which makes dining more fun. I enjoyed my first salsa in this bowl and found the serving size perfect for a single serve for salsa and guacamole or could also be used for serving chutneys, creams and sauces as well. This bowl makes a wonderful gift. Regarding the care part, one needs to be careful in handling this dish to prevent any chipping and surface scratching. Be careful while loading in the dishwasher to ensure enough room around to prevent damage. Thank you!
