Sturdy awning, Burning Man-proof!
This awning is so much better than I expected. Attached it to my 4 Runner OEM rack, which required drilling into the cross bars. I took it out to Burning Man, and it provided the perfect amount of shade, and there were ZERO issues in the wind. The included stakes held it and the wall panel perfectly. No issues with catching wind or sailing away like all those ez-ups.I bought this over the ARB or other brands because this one includes a wall, rather than selling it as an added option. I was not disappointed, and I plan on using it for many more adventures!

Ordered twice but
I actually order this unit twice. Booth times were a delivery fail and sent them back. The product is really heavy and the ups delivery guys must be really weak in my area/ route. The box was completely crushed and open on one end. The mounting hardware lost along the way. The length is 6'2" and is the right length for an unlimited jeep. Looks heavy duty frame but the canvas bag didn't survive the delivery trip. It had holes in them and i don't want it to rot away with rain water. Pics of first and second delivered items.

Good, but camlocks suck!!!
The good:-easily mounted to roof rack, just needed to buy longer bolts-spent 3 days in the rain, no leaks-deploys and rolls up easily and quickly-withstands fairly strong windsThe bad:-pole cam locks suck. Second day of use one would not release, separated from the inner tube and remained inside the outer tube. Push button locks would be more reliable. The fix: buy a $10 set of 5, 8mm kayak paddle/tent pole push locks, drill out poles and install. Remove crap cam locks.

Not as easy to set up as stated
First off I thought I was ordering an ARB brand awning but I guess I was wrong. The supplied L brackets don’t work with my prinsu roof rack (they don’t allow the awning to sit high enough to clear the rack easily) so I had to order different brackets separately. Also the channel bolts that fit into the Prinsu rack don’t fit into the awning channels and the supplied bolts don’t fit into the brackets I got so I had to grind down the rounded bolt heads to fit into the awning channels. It was a bitch to get it on the rack by myself but I managed. Needed help to set the awning up so it’s for sure not as easy to set up as the description makes it to be. The product itself seems to be sturdy but I’ve only tried it out in my garage. 3 stars is my vote.

Great awning for the price!
I am really impressed. After figuring out how to modify the mounting hardware to my roof rack, the rest was a piece of cake. Installed it by myself and then my first attempt at setting up the awning was a bit awkward but it takes only minutes to set it up and roll it back into the bag. The materials seem very well made. I don't even mind the chocolate brown color. Note that the seller calls it dark beige. It is not beige. It is chocolate brown! I don't care, it looks good with my white van, but some might not like it.

Survived a thunderstorm on my first weekend use
Great product. Materials and design are topnotch, i cluding the use of plastic pieces like on the couplings were flex is needed. Even the tent line and stakes are better than expected.I installed mine on Thule square bars which I didnt want to drill on so mounted the Awning brackets with U clamps. Good that the L brackets that came with the awning was also long on one side which I needed to raise its height on the side of my truck.Used it just 2 days after receiving the part and it survived a thunderstorm with high wind and rain. The only complain I have are the misaligned holes where the pointed end of the horizontal support poles should lock into, though something I can work myself on with a drill.

No support available... Apparently used... Thanks, but no, thanks
Came quickly, noticed right away the shopworn outer box with extra labels beneath my address label (someone else’s return?), opened the box and looked for assembly items and instructions (xeroxed and stapled in a corner), discovered mounting bolts didn’t fit the aluminum channel, and obvious breaks in the folding areas of the outer cover. Looked for contact information from vendor or manufacturer, no phone, only a generic email address... And website was inactive, but announced it was “comming” [sic]. Didn’t bother to investigate further, got a return address printed, taped the box shut and sent it back to the vendor. Absolutely horrendous. Can’t give zero stars, so they get one...

Two problems.
There are two problems. Mine had one missing velcro strap for the left middle section on the tarp so I hadda pull out my arts and craft to make a DIY Velcro strap then I glued in place where it should go on that tarp. The 2nd problem was that the instruction manual wasn’t good. It took me a while to figure out that the two poles was supposed to twist inorder to lock in place.
