Happy camper
Bosch requires a special power cord for some reason. I am very thankful that I was able to find one on Amazon for a reasonable price. It worked as intended. Easy to install. Push in fit.

We got a new Bosch and it did not come with the plug. This was 100% correct fitment as Bosch has a special input.

Power Cord That Works
We purchased a used Bosch 500 series dishwasher on the local Facebook Marketplace listings.When we went to pick it up, it had a power supply which the plug end had been split into 3 wires for a hardwire. So I needed something so we could use the dishwasher in my house with a standard plug.This plug fit perfect, and now my dishwasher works great.All I could ask for.

Power Cord Replacement Upgrade
This cord is a direct replacement for the manufacturer (Bosch) supplied power cord and wired junction box. For those fortunate enough to have a power outlet under the sink or inside the dishwasher opening it plugs in directly without having to install the junction box or wire into it. Easy.

Undersized for Bosch dishwasher
The manual for my Bosch 800 series dishwasher states that it requires 12 amps and 14AWG wire. This power cord is rated for 10 amps and is 18AWG and should not be used with the dishwasher. As you can see in the picture from my thermal camera the cord gets over 110F when in use. While that temperature is within the specified temperature limits marked on the cable, it is not a good sign when a wire gets hot in use. So even though this power cord physically fits, it really is not suitable for Bosch dishwashers. Look for a power cord that is rated for at least 12 amps or 1400 watts.
