I drive a Mini Cooper R56 2010. When I got my car, the previous owner did not take care of it whatsoever. This included the trunk being unable to hold itself up. So I bought this due to the good reviews and received it yesterday. The box has it wrapped in a strong plastic to keep it from opening itself, so I had to use wire cutters to release them. I took off my old ones and simply popped on the new ones and they worked immediately. Closing the trunk now requires some of effort, and opening it requires no extra leverage to hold it up. Very pleased with the results and the quality is amazing. Definitely worth the money.

PERFECT!!
I ordered this product to replace my trunk struts as it was not closing properly for over a year. This product was so easy to install and just perfect. Definitely recommend for purchase.

No instructions
Easy install except for retaining clip on one side didn't pull out as expected so I had to use needle nose pliers to pull ot clip to install on point.

Hold up shocks for 2007 Mini Cooper
These parts are well made but I had a problem with the RH side. It popped off the lower mounting and got jammed between the hatch and the body of the car. It broke the bottom of the Black vertical trim piece next to the hatch opening. I submitted a return request and within a very short period of time received a new set of hold up shocks. This seller stepped yup to the plate and stood behind the product. Thank You for the outstanding service! BTW- these shocks are pretty stout and work really well. If I have any problems I will update my review. - John

Work great, pain to install
Don't let YouTube fool you, the clips to install these are a pain in the rear. Once they are installed they work great, happy to have the hatch back again.
