Q: Is it ok for charcoal ?

Many thanks for your question. These books use a 170gsm cartridge which has a medium tooth. Cartridge, by its nature, provides an ideal surface for drawing/sketching. Some people prefer smooth surfaced cartridge which helps with accuracy whilst others prefer a very toothy (rough) surface which helps with softer materials as the roughness holds more of the pigment. As mentioned this is a mid-toothed paper suitable for a wide range of applications - it will hold charcoal however a rougher surface will assist better. Thank you againArtway Ltd.

Q: Is this good for use with acrylic pens?

the page creases slightly when acrylic dries on it but it should be okay
