50-4000MHz RF Low Noise Amplifier SPF5189 0.6dB Wide Band Amplifier Signal Receiver for FM HF VHF/UHF Ham Radio

I used this to amplify the signal from a 1/4wave DAB aerial on my wife's car. I did bench test it first and found that even with the on-board screening, it tended to be a little unstable, generating significant noise on the output. Building it into a small tin box, and using 1000pf feedthrough capacitors on the +ve supply solved the problem entirely. (perhaps a little overkill using feedthroughs though!)Installed in the car, It does the job perfectly with full signal bars on all local muxes too.

revitalised a 4 yr old nooelec sdr it increased the signal whilst not giving any appreciable increase in noise (using a powerbank !!...usb from computer was not as good ) def does as it says on packet ! dont forget to add a heatsink ! have just used gaffa tape enclosure lol... might get around to knocking up somat less rough n ready then again might not
