My favorite Civivi release yet!
Civivi's 11th Anniversary Limited Edition variant of the Mini Praxis is my favorite release of theirs yet. Although I am still partial to the ODD 22 as far as base models go, the combination of quality materials and low price push this version of the Mini Praxis over the top for me. It is very rare, unless you are scouring EBay, to find a knife with an S35VN blade and Fat Carbon scales for under $125, let alone the $84.95 MSRP that this variant has, so the value here is outstanding to me.The Mini Praxis is another knife with a blade length of just under 3" that doesn't feel too small to me. Its blade profile, while not as wide as on the ODD 22, is wider than many knives in this length range, so it feels bigger than I thought it would under use. The handle is narrower than on the ODD 22 though, so it doesn't fill the hand quite as nicely as that model. The Mini Praxis is also flipper-only, so it doesn't have as many possible opening methods as the ODD 22. The spine of the blade and the flipper tab both have jimping to aid with ease of opening and handling.I would highly recommend this variant of the Mini Praxis. I haven't seen this kind of value of materials in a knife at this level of MSRP since Civivi's last Anniversary LE, the Elementum with Jungle Wear Fat Carbon scales. I am partial to this year's LE even over that one because I like the Mini Praxis profile a bit better than the Elementum, and I like the color of the Arctic Storm Fat Carbon a little bit better than the Jungle Wear. So now all I have to do is hope that the 12th Anniversary LE is an ODD 22 with Purple Haze Fat Carbon scales.

This is your every-day EDC
I own several Civivi knives. I find that their quality-to-pricepoint ratio makes them a good deal. The Mini Praxis is no exception. The fit and finish are outstanding. No flaws and the blade is centered perfectly. No wobble and the blade deploys with ease with a flick of the finger. Solid lockup with the linerlock that releases easily. Handy blade shape with a useful finger choil and a little jimping on the spine if you want to choke up on it a little. Sharp out of the box; sliced through newspaper easily with little pressure. The G10 is slightly grippy, fits the hand well, & no hotspots detected. The deep-carry pocket clip is substantial and would be hard to break. This is an esthetically pleasing knife. Slender, lightweight, functional without an alarming appearance. This is definitely a tier one EDC for me. The only issue I may have is that it's D2 steel. Sure, I could have purchased the fancy limited edition with S35VN but I'm not a fan of carbon fiber. A Mini in 14C28N at $35 or so would really be sweet. You're not going to baton stainless steel or dress out a grizzly with it. What you will do is open boxes, cut string, slice apples, and other daily tasks and you'll do it with ease. Buy it. It's a great value.

Stunning Craftsmanship Meets Everyday Utility
This Damascus folding knife is an absolute gem. The blade has a beautiful wavy pattern unique to real Damascus steel, and it came razor sharp right out of the box. The wooden handle gives it a rustic, classic look while still feeling sturdy and ergonomic in the hand.It opens smoothly with one hand and locks in place securely, making it perfect for everyday carry. Whether I’m opening packages, going camping, or just admiring the craftsmanship, this knife handles it all.Definitely a high-quality piece that feels way more expensive than it is. Makes a great gift too!✅ Pros:Gorgeous Damascus blade patternComfortable wooden handleSmooth folding mechanismStrong, reliable locking system

I mean… it IS a pocket knife… 🤣
I think the knife is SWEET! Just got it and can’t wait to use it. It’s comfortable. The spring seems great. Super easy to carry around! My only thing is the size. I didn’t think it was going to be as small as it was. I got the Damascus wooden one which again… LOVE IT… If I would’ve known that the size was going to be what it was, I would have gotten it bigger…

Great budget blade. Sharp.
Great knife for the money. Opens slick, fit and finish is on point, came sharp enough to shave my forearm hair off with ease. I got the wooden handle, it’s nice looking but maybe a little slippery for some, but I don’t mind since it’s a pocket knife. The full size praxis is a fairly large pocket knife, I also bought the praxis mini for my wife. The mini is a very handy size. I already have a smaller size knife so I was looking for a full size knife I won’t shed tears if i loose. I’d have no problem skinning a deer with this blade.

Exceptional for the price!
Been collecting knives for a few years now, and this feels like a knife twice its price. It’s also not too small if that’s a concern, at least not unless you have particularly large hands. The blade is about the same size and the handle is ever so slightly shorter than my current favorite knife, the Ontario RAT II. It feels built at least as well in my opinion, it’s a nice looking knife but I wouldn’t be afraid to beat on it either. It also came in a nice case with a cleaning cloth as well. The action is particularly nice especially for the price. I’ve gone ahead and ordered an Elementum in advance of potential price increases on imported goods because I was just that impressed by the quality of this $30 knife.

Love the wood / Damascus look
I love this knife. Flips open with a nice assist and re-assuring "click". The wood scales next to the Damascus blade look awesome. I honestly cannot tell if this is a true multi-layer forged Damascus blade or some sort of printed facsimile, but it sure looks good. This is my first knife from this brand, and everything is solid and tight. Will buy from this brand again, for sure!
