Hand-Lettering (An Interactive Guide to the Art of Drawing Letters)

I started to do some hand lettering and I needed a guide so I bought this book. I am super happy! The author focuses on 5 styles so you can practice on those directly in the book. Plenty of space to practice and trying your own style. She gives tips for improving the styles and also she explains how to do words compositions with decorations etc. I would recommend for beginners like me.

I love it. Great ideas, illustrations, paper, quality. It goes through the process of starting up with lettering and finished with creative ideas for different projects. Megan's illustrations are stunning. I truly adore her writing and style of lettering. I recommend you to purchase this book as it provides a good base for learning and developing. And her flowers are simply amazing! Delivery was prompt and book wrapped up very well. I also love the strap, so handy!!!I It's well worth every penny.

This is truly an amazing book. I don't see how anyone could give this a bad review. To get added practice purchase some tracing paper so that you're unlimited by the pages provided. You'll definitely need regular or tracing paper for hand lettering anyway. You'll have so much fun with this! It really gives a great guide to beginners and offers a creative boost! Keep in mind this is hand lettering not calligraphy.

Il libro è meraviglioso sia a livello qualitativo che contenutistico. La copertina è rigida e le pagine sono di ottima qualità, ideali per esercitarsi. Anche a livello grafico è molto carino. I testi sono ovviamente in inglese, le indicazioni sono molto chiare e ricche di esempi ed esercizi. Come primo approccio all'hand lettering è uno dei testi più completi e belli. Consigliatissimo a chi inizia e vuole una guida completa e semplice.
