Q: what range do the PIR’s have? I may need to put at back of 500mm deep cupboard?

The sensor I have only operates from a distance of 5 to 10mm. This is used to operate an illuminated bathroom mirror and it works extremely well. There are similar devices on the market which are designed to sense the opening and closing a cupboard door.

Q: Can i connect this to a 60w transformer so as to power 2 sets of led strip lights? (i've confirmed that the 2 strip lights together will require less
