LGG6 Quad Core 32 GB UK SIM-Free Smartphone - Black

Bought for my youngest son (13), who had saved up and done his research on the best way to get a premium quality Android smartphone to replace his hand-me-down iPhone 5. We decided upon getting last year's model Samsung, SIM-Free, using his existing PAYG SIM. After browsing various marketplaces and online stores, we settled upon the LG G6. After a false start (the first one delivered came with a Euro fast charger), we received the phone. Son is delighted, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the manufacturing quality. It feels quite light, yet solid. We purchased a wallet case to go with it, as there are some reports of the glass back scratching. The screen is good, and whilst it does wrap around the edges has a minimum border. The touchscreen is responsive, and the OS is quite snappy. We upgraded to Oreo with no issues. The rear camera quality is excellent as far as we can tell, and the front facing camera adequate. The extras, like fingerprint sensor, are nice-to-haves for a phone that cost us £329.

this phone was not suitable for the u.k. i found it very hard to find an adapter for the charger to fit u.k. wall sockets and then had to take it to the carphone warehouse to get it down loaded for it to work in the u.k. which cost me more money so i am not happy .

This is a remarkable Android phone for the price, given it was a flagship LG model at launch. The camera is excellent; IP67 seals make it robust, and the size makes it easy to use one-handed. The Dolby Vision is impressive but is a bit of a gimmick; try finding things to watch that use it... It is almost impossible. The audio performance is also excellent, but you'll need good earphones to make the most of the sound as the supplied earbud-style 'phones don't have enough range of depth.

Phone would not charge properly... returned and refunded.

not uk model at all. doesnt come with a UK charger. was advised by lg that it is actually polish.sold by amazon.co.uk not a merchant so I wasn't expecting to be mislead. Returned for refund. what a waste of time.

Love the phone best upgrade yet.... Chose this from having an lg g3 phone the battery lasts alot longer the camera is amazing and the low light i have on 48% most of time and still bright so saves battery loads... Fast apps loading definatly reccommend to people....and really fast delivery!!!!
