About Time Perfect Time Radio Controlled Outdoor Garden Clock - 57.5cm

A stylish large clock with the added advantage of being radio controlled which is somewhat rare to find in a clock of this size. Looks great in my conservatory. Although the metal casing is also available in an off white (more like cream) colour the numerals are only in the style shown which is a shame as I always prefer roman numerals. Curious that the smaller sized radio controlled versions are available in both styles but not this 60cm size. However it seems well made and reliable thus far. Will update this review if that reliability changes.

Now been installed for several months on external shed wall. Working well. Was a little concerned that it maybe susceptible to water ingress but so far seems to be not a problem. See how it now performs during the winter and when the clock go back.Update 19th January 16 months use. The strong winds of a storm that was not allocated a name by the Met Office but was named 'David' by Meteo France resulted in our clock falling and the glass face smashing. This was the second time it had been blown off the wall. The first fall it survived.I had thought being blown off the wall could have been an issue and did in actual fact fix a plastic tether as a redundancy feature. Sadly the tether broke.I loved this clock. Looked great, kept great time.I'm considering options but I may order another and see to improve fixing method.Update 4th February 2018.I have purchased another clock. The neighbour came round to say she missed the clock on the stable wall whilst washing up and looking out into the garden.So I've changed the hanging method untiling an old coat hanger and making a permanent hook assembly through which a screw is threaded. This should prevent the clock being blown off the hanging hook but will the bracket on the clock backing last? We shall see.

I first bought this clock in June 2019: that first one was faulty with the hands sticking. But my wife liked it so we bought a 2nd one in Nov 2019 and that has lasted nearly 5 years. The double a battery lasts about 6 months and sometimes it stops - reinserting the battery usually resolved the matter. The paint on the face pealed but it was a south facing position. But generally we love it.

This clock looks fabulous on my garage wall and it's so big it enables me to read the time from the bottom of my garden of 3/4 of an acre. Everybody has commented on it. Like other reviewers I found the instructions rubbish.all you need do is put in the batteries, leave it on the bench for a hour, when you go back it will be the right time.

This is the second of these clocks I have purchased from Primrose.It is a good clock, easy to install even on to a stone uneven wall.The original clock is still performing well after more than a year outside.

Slight bubbles in clock face.... disappointing,... otherwise very impressive

Liked the size and clarity.A clock should be accurate. This clock, radio controlled, is precisely one hour slow. Surely the satellite should recognise that we live in Italy and therefore are one hour ahead of BST and GMT.Also the paper face of the clock is of very poor quality and is wrinkled. This is unacceptable.

Easy to set and easy to read from the end of the garden (90ft) ideal.
