Gave a special Valene drink to a friend! They shared it was a delicious fun way to celebrate the holiday!

This is great for mocktails for those detox days weeks and months

Inconsistent amount of ingredients between packages, Star anise dominates the nose, but not overpowering. Some flavor change on the pallet, but not a lot. After about 15 minutes the pomegranate and butterfly pea starts to come out. Used Roku Japanese Gin which is a clean neutral Gin and Fever tree Indian tonic. The other issue is that the botanical components float and drinking without a straw you are constantly spitting out the ingredients. A mouthful of star anise is not exactly subtle. Also to show inconsistency between packets, one started minor color changing to pink after about 2 minutes due to the butterfly pea, the other didn't. If you know butterfly pea then you know its color influence. The picture is after 15 minutes and no color change.I think the better use of this is to put 2 packets into a bottle of Gin or Vodka, and let set 2-4 days (to taste) then strain. I will be using it for this use in the future.If used as directed I give it 2 stars, if used in a bottle to change things up It has potential.

Not what you think it is.Packets of dried sliced raw ginger root, a slice of dried lime, and hunks of thick, stiff cinnamon bark did NOT infuse when used as directed. A murky, bland cocktail that was not enjoyable sat for six hours hoping for the flavors to bloom. Never happened. Disappointed.

I use it to infuse water, seller or ginger ale. They are very delicious and can be used to infuse more than one drink.

Not as much flavor as expected but super cute stir in for cocktails

I would recommend having it brew for a while. Wonderful with sparking wine and plain sparkling mineral water.
