The "top two holes" are 3/4" diameter for bolting onto your vehicle and accepting a hitch-ball. The bottom hole is 5/8" diameter for accepting a pin to pull a trailer.I hope this helps.Take care,FERAL Performance

Are there any tricks to attaching it so it doesn't turn?

We have had some people comment regarding the Bolt-On Spread Eagle slipping when they take corners. Generally the isssue has been minimized by using two wrenches to enable you to tighten better. One on the bolt hex head, the second on the hex nut. I use Vise Grip on the hex nut and a long Crescent (adjustable) wrench on the bolt head. I hope this helps. Take care, FERAL Performance
