Bought for my parents as not good with modern tech. Really easy to set up ,in all very impressed.

I bought the phone for my husband to replace a previous Doro phone which only works on2G and he now needs one which will work on 4G. I feel that it provides simple functionality, is small and value for money.

I purchased this phone for my Mother who is 91 years old. Smart Phones are totally beyond her, so I was looking for a basic phone that a) she could be proud of and b) was a doddle to use. This phone looked as if it would meet this criteria and when it arrived I was personally delighted with what I saw. A quick trip to Tesco to get a very cheap Sim Card (£7.50 per month), plus the Tesco Mobile Sales Rep very kindly set up the phone for me with an emergency number (this is a small button on the back of the phone, so if my Mother falls, she can press this button and I instantly get a text stating she needs help, plus a call where she does not even have to open the phone up). We have put this in to practice over the past few weeks and it has been a resounding success. My Mother is very happy to use this phone, the ring is loud enough for her to hear, she can call me with absolute ease and the flip-up style she loves - so highly successful and certainly recommended.

I like the phone pad which as larger letters and numerals and the volume is good

I bought this as a replacement for my Mum, very easy for her to use.

This was purchased to allow my mother in law to keep in touch with family follow a fall that has left her incapacitated. so this is very much a life life for her.6 weeks in and this has stopped working!!!! and it is outside of Amazon's return policy.Doro Customer service is shocking!! The product is clearly not fit for purpose and they are being a pain, currently refusing to accept Amazon's order number as a valid proof of purchase. If they are not prepared to accept the Amazon order number the they should NOT be allowed to sell their products on Amazon. indeed Amazon have a LEGAL OBLIGATION to deal with this issue, the item is/was purchased via Amazon they have taken the payment my contract is with Amazon not Doro.As a Purchasing manager for 40+ years i know my consumer rights!!!I would urge anyone not to purchase, this product, aside from not being fit for purchase, it really is not worth the hassles and the hoops that we are being made to jump through in order to get this item replaced.Meanwhile it leaves my Mother in law, who is currently totally immobile, unable to summon help - SHOCKING SITUATION, SHOCKING PRODUCT, SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICEI would love to give negative stars but that is not possiblephone is back from DORO and sound problem - however the phone now cannot sent or receive text messaged the text facility has disappeared from the phone altogether!!THIS IS , AT BEST, AWFUL!!!!! - this product has been an absolute nightmare!!!!
