I can't manage to tie a knot for this bracelet string. It comes loose, like the string is too slippery and thick. What knot are you using??

I tied a regular knot and pulled it super tight and it stayed. Then I doubled knotted and did the same and haven’t had any issues.

Does not stay together after tying

Instructions say to tie ends together tightly but elastic is to slippery and no matter how tightly I pulled it, it came undone in a matter of seconds. Do not recommend, especially if the elastic will be used for a child.
