Great product
The media could not be loaded. Ordered the 6"x6" (4"x4" opening), Would have purchased a larger one but going to install two vents on each end to avoid cutting the 2x4” and flashing.The quality is much higher than I expected and 100x better than all the other cheaply made vents I’ve seen online. Measurements provided are accurate and the screen is small enough to keep bugs out. Doesn’t come with a template but easy to trace around the smaller end beforehand. Only issue I had was cutting through the cement fiberboard I have for siding

Quality build
The media could not be loaded. We have a small gable vent in the small shed but the plastic piece was not doing much during hot days causing the internal temperature to soar. We wanted more ventilation as we keep bird seeds and other items that probably will deteriorate with heat so we opted for a longer lasting metal.The metal is nice and thick. It doesn't feel flimsy and floppy either which we were glad. The installation as easy to measure the backside of the vent, measure the outside of the shed, cut, and insert. You can practically think of many ways to secure this including using simple construction adhesive if you don't want to drill into the material.We're happy with the look and the quality overall.

Vent is exact size as listed, not flimsy, great for new install or replacement.
This vent is the exact size that is listed in the pictures and text, this vent was easy to install. This would work great for a new install or for a replacement, it has a nice mesh screen across it so insects and other small creatures cannot get inside the building. This vent is durable, and not only did it install easy, but it allows the attic to vent properly all while keeping the insects out.
