This is without a doubt the best ice wrap I have ever used! Can get really cold which is what is needed - you can throttle down by controlling pressure. Perfect fit and easy to use.

Works as advertised.

My wife had a running injury almost a year ago. She went through therapy and all the normal healing processes, and so far, it's just a lot of pain. We went to a sporting event that offered one of those freezing units and she gave it a try. It worked really good for a day or two. We looked into buying one of our own. Then we found out they were priced over $2500, so we decided to try something else. I came across this item on Amazon and showed it to my wife. She decided to give it a try. So far, it's working really good. It's easy to use and seems to help with the pain. Really glad something like this is offered as an alternative to the high priced recovery equipment out there.

I bought this because I was having orthoscopic knee surgery. I also have a nice machine but I thought this would be beneficial also because 1) it would be easier to deal with, and 2) it has the pressure you can apply, which you cannot control with an ice machine. It has turned out to be even better than I expected. It’s colder than an ice machine, and it is easier to use the ice packs, two of them last a very long time. this was very beneficial to my healing and helped keep the pain and swelling down. If you have knee problems you really need to buy this item. I highly recommend it.

I got this for my total knee replacement which happened today. (6-3) It works ok. The pads don't stay cold for 20 minutes, the amount of time it should be on a body part.It comes with 2 gel, freezer pads so one can be freezing until you need it again. They freeze fairly quickly once they're already cool from previous use.The compression is a problem, I blew it up, but I couldn't deflate it. I figured out how to deflate it. Unscrew and pull the tube with the hand pump attached, turn the dial to “On”, and squeeze the bag. Then reattach the tube and hand pump. It just pushes back on. The problem is that it no longer inflates.I totally stopped using mine in favor of old-fashioned ice packs and a big, flat, malleable, frozen gel pad.I certainly wouldn't purchase it again.

This compression knee wrap is an outstanding alternative to the higher priced devices. This device uses gel packs instead of ice so you don't have the mess of handling ice and emptying the reservoir after use. It also give you total control over how much compression you need. Pump it up or just use it to keep the gel packs in place. Another advantage is that you are able to move around since you aren't tethered an ice reservoir. Cost savings was also a big plus $55 opposed to $200 for something you may only need to use once.
