GORIX Bike Front Rack Carrier MTB Road Bicycle (GX-Rack)

The media could not be loaded. At first I was skeptical about buying this product because there was very little information available. I decided to take a chance and what do you know? It's a very good product. It fits perfectly on my giant escape disc 2 and I'm sure you could adjust it to fit many other bicycles. Is very comparable to the Origin 8 Rush Messenger which I previously purchased. I believe it's just a little smaller, which I actually prefer. The materials seem solid and it arrived with all the hardware needed to assemble. For the price and quality, I think its an excellent purchase.

EZ installation on my old Cannondale, good clearance for my Vbrakes and the angle is very nearly horizontal with no bending. Half the price from a popular orange vendor, no offense, but a good value.

With provided hardware - I can’t trust it not collapsing under anything over 10lbs. Which is a real shame!

The rack is as stable as any 3 point rack. My bike has 700c wheels and I installed the rack straight from the box with no fitting required. You may have to modify it to fit an MTB due to the larger tire clearance of the fork crown. For reference, the fork eyelets are 210mm below the fork crown bolt on my bike. The spacing between the outboard edges of the tabs on the rack is 127mm. I wish it had more bars on the platform for attachment points, but for the price, there's nothing to complain about.

Horrible quality materials. A couple months into using this rack lightly, a bracket snapped mid ride causing the rack to fall forward onto my front tire, it seized up and tossed me over my bars. Could not have asked for a worse experience. Hands and elbows are all torn up. I’ll be getting a refund or replacement asap.

First of all this rack looks great and fit perfectly on my Surly Bridge Club. Seems to be made well and very sturdy for half the price of similar set ups. The hardware is not the greatest so I will be upgrading the nuts and bolts. My initial purchase of this product shipped with no hardware pack or struts for the rack itself. I only received the rack. I did see a couple other reviews from people that had the same issue but I was willing to take the chance. Notified the seller and requested a replacement order. It shipped within 2 days and the second package had all the goodies! Had I received everything on the first go round this would be a 5 star all day long.

This is my 2nd one. I have 1 on each of my bikes. Rack is wide enough to secure a basket on it.My main use for it is to put my dog in the basket for bike rides. Dog is 20 lbs. I like to be able to see the dog while riding and the dog loves to see what’s in front vs riding in the back and not seeing anything.Not have had any issues.**Mounting it required a screw which was included but not long enough. No big deal, nothing more than a quick run to the hardware store.

Very happy with this! Did a bike packing trip and this was a champ on some rough terrain. I did have to use some spacers to fit my mount point behind the fork.
