2005 GMC Sierra Denali
Works as expected and would expect for the GM 1500 series platform. Green goes to passenger side handle rod, red to driver’s side. Durability? No idea. Come in a resealable plastic bag, which in my case had been previously opened by ripping the middle of the bag. All 5 pair were there but it meant some were loose in shipping envelope and some spilled onto the floor. Second time I’ve had to make this easy repair in 20 years of ownership. This time caused by someone who loaded bags of soil amendment using the handle to lift and shut the tailgate. Symptom is you go to lower the tailgate and the handle doesn’t unlatch the tailgate so it can’t be lowered. Use a 13 mm socket to remove 3 bolts on inside of tailgate (the side facing the cab). In this fix I assume at this point I’ll have to replace the plastic bezel which surrounds the handle and so to expedite I just break one or both of the top bezel clips so I can move on. $10’ish item, order at same time.If you HAVE to lower the tailgate to unload something in the meantime, use that 13 mm socket to remove the bolts, remove the bezel, and pull on each rod toward the center and the tailgate will unlatch. Pliers help.Pictures include the old green broken one. The short part of the L shaped clip which inserts like a cone and locks into the handle release mechanism is what breaks. It’s missing, probably at bottom of tailgate. The red one, 20 years old, broke while fixing the green one.Tips: 4 reasons you may count on replacing the bezel and ordering at same time. 1) you break one of the probably brittle by now plastic clips because they don’t bend well and the double sided tape isn’t letting you shift the bezel to gain an advantage. 2) you WILL end up tearing the foam of the double sided tape of the bezel because the adhesive strip will be stuck well to the paint. No issue if your bezel is black except it’s a matte black with a texture not onyx black from factory. If yours is color matched you’ll have to paint or live with black. The new one comes with tape. Ordered mine on Amazon from that US company which manufactures so much of the replacement parts for this kind of truck. 3) it’s just faster to break away the old one and start fresh. In my case since I replaced the original bezel with non-OEM during the previous fix I didn’t care. 4) don’t connect both sides with mechanism hanging out of tailgate hole. Connect one, turn handle and mechanism 90 degrees, finagle it in and realign horizontally once in, then connect the other one. Bolt on. Install bezel.

2009 GMC Sierra 1500
This took all of 5 minutes to get it done. Parts fit fine and now I have extra. I installed the left side which was missing and changed out the right side which was ready to break. I should be good for another 16 years, lol. If you need help, check out YouTube for how to do it.

Good for 1984 Dodge W150
These were great for my 1984 Dodge W150. You can use them for the handle attachment points and the latch attachment points. I don't think the "red/green" "left/right" difference really matters. Just insert the clip into the hole of the handle or latch, then put the rod into it, and lastly rotate the clip onto the rod. I tried a few times to put the clip onto the rod and then force everything into the hole, and that won't work.

Easy to install.
Just what I needed to fix the tailgate on my 07 Duramax. Easy to install, go ahead and replace both sides. Be careful not to break the handle bezel.

These clips fit the interior door rod latch for a 2004 Chev Silverado rear door
It would be nice if they sold these a couple at a time, but, can't go wrong with the price
