Q: How do I prepare them for my aquariam? I bought the ferns and I’m not sure what to do to ensure they don’t have pests on them and don’t infect my tank

Hello Rachel,. I washed the ferns in a bucket of water, the water being prepared the same as you would for a water change. And then placed the ferns on top of the substrate. The ferns are still going well and every so often require cutting back. You will need good lighting and feeding to help the ferns establish and grow. Water quality is everything. Good luck 👍

Q: Are the plants guaranteed of snails and other organisms

I doubt if any plant can be GUARANTEED free of snails and other organisms but I can say that I have had no problem whatsoever with these plants at all. However, I did soak them in a bucket containing a dose of Gastropex aquatic snail treatment for a few hours before introducing them into my tank. This is something I always do as an extra precaution. Hope this helps.

Q: How fast will it grow

Unfortunately I cannot confirm bar few weeks. I have loads of fish that enjoy plants. And a parrot fish that loves the taste.

never got the chance, the plants were so bad they went in the bin
