SIMPLE, COST-EFFECTIVE SOLUTION; HERE'S A COUPLE TIPS...
These plates work perfectly -- they fit right over the existing rubber base, velcro sticks tight to the plate, and the pedal sticks tight to the board. The only downside is, it's a right pain to get the tiny Boss screws out the first time -- they're practically welded in, so be careful you don't strip 'em. It's also tricky to get the screw aligned properly to go back in -- a magnetized screwdriver helps a lot. If the screws are properly aligned, the plate fits tight as a drumhead. And last but not least, when you put velcro on, don't cover the screw holes.Five bucks is a small price to pay to keep an expensive Boss pedal clean and resalable. Highly recommended.

Perfection!
While building my pedalboard I didn't want to permanently damage my boss pedals with Velcro gunk. I ordered these bottom plates and they are absolutely a perfect match. Be sure to use the right small Phillips screwdriver to avoid stripping the boss screws. They solidly fit and I'll be sure to use them on every boss pedal. I only wish they'd make these for other common pedal brands too. Amazing product!

Pretty cool problem solver
This is a great product that solves the common issue of how to mount Boss pedals to a pedalboard. Boss pedals are known for their distinctive design which looks good and works well but when you get ready to mount them on a pedalboard you have decisions to make. Since the bottom is rubber and has an indentation in the middle for the label, securing them using velcro can sometimes be less than satisfactory. You get better results putting velcro in the middle but then you run the risk of damaging the label when you pull off the velcro later before selling the pedal. One option is flipping over the bottom plate and applying velcro/dual lock to the plain side but some models don't have enough room inside to accommodate the rubber side. I've seen people zip tie them and screw them to boards with bicycle chain links or plumbing strap. It's a real hassle if you want to preserve the bottom of the pedal in case it becomes collectible one day. Sometimes I just said the heck with it, slapped on velcro, and didn't worry about it. As a result I did damage a couple labels. This product does away with all that hassle. You just screw the plastic plate over the rubber bottom using the pedal's existing screws, slap some velcro or dual lock on the plastic plate, and you're good to go. If you decide to sell the pedal just remove the plate. If you're just swapping out the pedal for another Boss pedal, you can move the plate to the new pedal and it's ready to be attached to your board. Pretty cool!I wish these were available 30 years ago.

fits perfectly, very happy
Instead of peeling off the rubber from the bottom of some 80s era boss pedals, I wanted to preserve them but still needed to mount to my pedal board. Velcro won't stick to the rubber, I tried, and there wasn't room to flip the plate around backward. There are replacement plates available, but these plastic covers simply fit over the existing plate and rubber with the same screws. I know I won't lose the plates or have to worry about finding them someday, everything stays together and the existing screws just worked perfectly to secure this plastic over shoe. Velcro sticks fine to this plastic it seems and I am completely satisfied. Thanks! will look at your other covers for some other pedals.

Great for Pedalboards
If you use Boss pedals on pedalboards, you know it can be frustrating to secure the velcro to rubber base of the pedals. This product is a very simple and effective design that solves that problem and it uses the Boss pedals screws to secure it. This is a great solution for a frustrating problem. I just wish they made floor plates for the Ibanez Tube Screamers as well… (TS9, TS808 *hint*hint*)

Nice
This is a very nice product that solves an old problem of attaching BOSS pedals to a pedalboard. The fit is perfect & looks factory. I only have 2 small issues, 1 they need a little bit longer screws, I've checked 3big name fastener companies & they didn't have anything close, the 2nd is the wholes where the screws go don't have much of a lip to hols the screw so if you tighten the screw to much it will go right through the plastic onto the original metal base plate pretty much making the plastic cover useless unless you find some longer screws & you mighty damage the original screw wholes. But overall a solid product that works great, just don't over tighten the screws & you should be fine. All that being said i would recommend this product.
