Satisfying clicky keys with premium feel and gamer-focused features
The Razer BlackWidow V3 delivers a true mechanical experience. The green switches are crisp, tactile, and loud — exactly what you'd expect from a proper clicky keyboard. Typing and gaming both feel responsive and satisfying. The build quality is excellent. The aluminium top plate adds weight and durability, while the Doubleshot ABS keycaps feel solid and show no wear after heavy use. The RGB lighting is vibrant and fully customisable through Razer Synapse, with per-key lighting and pre-set effects. The included wrist rest is basic but functional, and the multi-function digital roller is a great bonus for adjusting volume or brightness quickly. Media keys are handy, and overall layout (UK) is well spaced for long sessions. If you love the sound and feel of traditional mechanical switches and want a keyboard that looks and performs like a premium gaming tool, the BlackWidow V3 won’t disappoint.

A worthy investment!
Now it goes without saying that Razer are KINGS when it comes to their marketing. Their marketing in my eyes has essentially made them the Apple of gaming peripherals in the sense they put lots of money into their marketing and make their products sleek and user friendly. The build quality on this keyboard is fantastic, it sports an aluminium frame which is sturdy. The keyboard cable that comes with it however isn't the thickest. Now this isn't a complaint but commonly with high end mechanical keyboards you see a thick braided cable for durability but seeing as It will be stationary on my desk I don't see this being an issue. Now, I've used a few different mechanical switches in my time. My first ever switch I used was the Cherry blue switch which was initially my favourite. Then I moved to Cherry MX black switches as my other keyboard stopped working on me :( I feel as if the razer greens are like emulations of the blue, the actuation point on them isn't hard by any means. But at the same time they're not mushy and you won't be doing any accidental key presses when playing or typing on this keyboard. The clicky switches will always hold a soft spot in my heart regardless of if they annoy my friends on games or not :DThe lighting on the keyboard is by FAR the selling point, I purchased a Razer Firefly V2 mouse mat at the same time as this to sync the lighting and I was absolutely blown away with what I got back.I've put on this review a few of the colour schemes I've messed around with so far. But honestly it is so nice to be able to sync the lights on my setup to whatever desktop I am running at the time. The software razer synapse whilst subjectively being mildly irritating because of how much ram it uses and how much space it holds on your computer is a nice to use and smooth interface. You can link games to your chroma effects too and have them perform specially in certain games which I thought was pretty cool.So yeah, if the price point doesn't intimidate you and you appreciate clicky switches I would highly recommend this keyboard for anyone looking to purchase. Just consider it's down to preference, for what I want/need for a keyboard it ticks all of the boxes. If you want a quieter key experience potentially opt for the razer yellow switches. All in all however this is probably the best mechanical gaming keyboard I have used to date. Before using Razer's products I was honestly sceptical and thought that they might just be aesthetically pleasing and not up to a performance standard for the price point but I can say personally. I take back that statement and have been thoroughly impressed thus far.

Brilliant Keyboard for all purposes
Absolutely love this keyboard. It's still going strong two years later - No damage or wear can be seen through continuous use, and I use it every day for several hours a day. Be that gaming or work purposes. Even the lights still work and contain their vibrancy! I would say it's great value for money for that reason. And if you're like me, and like loud - clicky-clacky keys, this is the keyboard for you. There are a few extra buttons on the top right that are cool in theory, but I scarcely use them to be honest.

Excellent Keyboard with One Minor but Repeated Issue
I’ve bought two of these keyboards, around two years apart, and overall I’m very happy with the quality and performance. The build is sturdy, the keys are responsive and comfortable to type on, and the wireless connection is stable. One of the standout features for me has been the battery life—it holds charge exceptionally well, even after long-term use. However, I did notice the same issue with both units I purchased: the volume control knob doesn’t behave as expected. When I turn it up, it increases the volume by just two steps, but when I turn it down, it reduces it by four. It’s a small issue, but it makes adjusting the volume smoothly a bit frustrating. Since it happened on both keyboards, I suspect it might be a design flaw rather than a one-off defect.Aside from that, everything else works great. If the volume dial isn’t a major feature for you, I’d still highly recommend this keyboard for its overall reliability and build quality.
