Works Like a Champ
I originally bought two of these. Then I figured I had better buy a third one. I figured if I didn't like them I could return them.I used them today for the first time, and they will not be returned. I am building cabinets and some bookcases. I have been glueing up maple panels 18 inches wide by about 3 feet long at 1 inch thick for the top of a few cabinets. After my glue ups no matter how carful I was there were always some high spots along the joints. Today I used these clamps space about 11 inches apart, and no high spots.I first used a paste wax on the flat sides incase of glue squeeze out. I placed the bottoms on the work bench glued each edge and pushed them together. I next put the top of the clamp on and pushed the non screw head side up tight. After that I used the screw head side to clamp the panel. Took the panel out after 45 minutes, there was a littl glue squeeze out on the clamps. I used a damp cloth to clean it off and then dry them. They are sturdy clamp tight and square if you are on the fence about getting these jump on in the water is fine.

Okay clamp system
I assumed these would function like the Rockler panel clamps and should've tried it out within the return window, but I did not and regret it. I finally got a chance to use this with a cutting board. I did only use 1 but I didn't need a lot of pressure. The wood strips I used were all the exact same thickness (ran through my planer) and verified by measuring each one before gluing. Got my 2 end clamps on (different brand) and put a couple of pieces in unevenly on purpose as I wanted to put the panel clamp in the middle to make the cutting board completely flat all the way across. I struggled to get the darn thing on and knew it was it wasn't gonna be what I expected. In fact, it didn't flatten it at all even with having the other 2 clamps loose to allow for the panel clamp to move & adjust. Sure it does a great job sandwiching each strip together. The vertical pressure isn't there at all and you can see it bending. If I could, I'd send it back. I highly recommend getting a set from Rockler so you get that vertical pressure.

Design flaw
You have to use a spacer if your clamping something bigger than 2" thick. ALSO!!! This thing doesn't clamp down on the top bottom direction like it should. I'm not impressed. It's not totally invaluable, but it's supposed to be multidimensional.... witch it doesn't do. Pay more money for something else.

Everything that I hoped for
This product is worth the purchase. I compared this to a similar product and it is every bit as durable as the other brand that is 30 to 60 dollars higher in price.

Design flaw in clamp jaws -- doesn't work well with thicker stock
These are advertised as being able to work with panels as thick as 3", but that is not the case. There is a design flaw in the clamp jaws, specifically the back stop, where the metal arms impact any stock thicker than 1.5 inches. This causes the clamp jaws to push out of their lock slots, and fail. If they had just curved the metal arms, like Rockler did in their version of this, it would accommodate thicker stock. I think going with the Rockler version for a few dollars more is worth it. Don't bother with these.

I wish I never purchased it.
Two lightweight, bends under its own weight.
