An excellent product for metal decoration and protection. I have used this product over many years and can highly recommend it. In general, provided that flaking rust is removed with a scraper and wire brush, one coat provides a good decorative and protective cover. This is due to the nature of the paint and its quick drying nature. Once cured the finish is very hard and long lasting. Read the instructions carefully in relation to second coat, if you wish to apply.

Excellent paint. We painted a very large garage door in under 2 hours. It was a pleasure to work with. No drips, no runs and covered in one coat.The paint arrived in very good time and was extremely good value for money.

This is the genuine thing proper hammerite, works really well a good product, the only downside is that it takes ages to arive its the same with all sellers of paint ,this one was quicker than most I suppose ive got used to next day delivery. Worth the wait mind you.

Used this for metal garden fixtures that were going rusty - ornamental fireplaces and metal dining set - and this stuff does the job!! Don't expect to be able to reuse any brushes that are used, as the stuff itself is so thick that you just need to dispose of the brushes after use.
